Porn Site Reveals Surge in Traffic Following Hawaii Missile Alert

An adult website has revealed that is saw a massive spike in traffic from users in Hawaii in the minutes after the ballistic missile false alarm notification that went out last weekend.

Hawaii residents received a text message alert at 8:07 a.m. Saturday, January 13, saying a ballistic missile was heading towards the tropical paradise. At 8:45 a.m. a correction went out, saying the alert was a false alarm.

Adult website Pornhub said Wednesday that it's traffic from Hawaiian users increased nearly 50 percent in just 16 minutes after the correction message, reports the Daily Mail

But the other side of that coin is that the surge in traffic followed a sharp 77 percent drop as Pornhub users sought shelter, evacuated or communicated with loved ones.

Still, as the website points out, its traffic following the corrected alert soared well above the average, with the all-time high coming at 9:01 a.m.

Hey, we all celebrate in our own way. And now we know (perhaps too much) about how Hawaiians celebrate.
