I guess Lil Wayne isn't quitting the tour after all!
After video of Lil Wayne addressing the crowd at one of his shows Thursday night (July 11) began to circulate online, fans were left wondering whether or not The Blink 182 and Lil Wayne tour was going to continue on. Weezy admitted on-stage that he didn't know how much longer he would stay on the tour, saying the crowds weren't "his swag".
“I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me, but I am so-not used to performing to a crowd...and there’s not too many...that’s not my swag,” he said. “I’m not sure how long I’m gonna be able to do this tour, but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though. Let’s go.”
However, Wayne has since back-peddled his statements. The rapper tweeted on Friday (July 12), "Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182. Bangor,ME See you tomorrow!"
I wonder what changed his mind... And I wonder why he was uncomfortable in the first place.
Were the crowds too small? Were the fans not who he's used to? Was it the overall vibe in general?
